  1. Nice new website. A suggestion for the next section. ‘The word D’ as essence for detraction, destitution, disaster, detriment, depreciation, denigration, diminishment is at the core of brandpower becoming brandpowDer. Just think of brands which have gone busted evaporating their power into powder. It would be an interesting section

  2. Love all your posts, etc. Great eye and postings. And on Envy as well. Thx!

  3. Hello! I’m a writer for Jalopnik, and would love to do a feature on the 911/DS. May I use pictures from your site? Would you be willing to take part in an interview? It’s a fantastic project and I’d love to cover it in detail.

Thanks very much! Please contact me at jason@jalopnik.com.

  4. Love that Porsche DS! What a great combo – looks really awesome from every angle. Really nice work! By the way I’m confused… Is this a real car or just a computer model right now?

I’m also a big fan of Tatras and have this concept of converting a VW Bug into a poor man’s Tatra T87. I’d like to send ya a Photoshop image of this if you’re interested. When I first saw your 911 DS I was like, two of the world’s sexiest cars combined, but it needs a Tatra rear end to make it perfect! Just kidding, it looks perfect the way it is.

  5. Hi, could I get some contact info from you guys? I’d like to do a post on the Porsche/Citroen hybrid for my website.

    Thanks!

  6. Dear Brandpowder,

I am a journalist from a famous german online newspaper called Spiegel-Online (http://www.spiegel.de/). I read a lot of the 911 DS you created a also about the photoshopped pictures. But the idea ist still nice and I am still interested in writing an article about this story. So could you tell me who stands behind “brandpowder”? Is it only for fun, are you an agency or what kind of business? it would be nice if you would contact me.

    best regards

    Christian Frahm

  10. Hi!, the 911DS is just such a fascinating project! Bet that design in those crazy years would be a great success, it definitely should be engineered…

By the way, I’m a fan of all design proposals in the world of cars and motorbikes, especially these last ones. If you share my tastes, you should visit this designer, I’m in love with his/her “unreal motorbikes”:

    Hope you’re keeping well!

I’m Maria Mcquire and am an avid reader and blogger, a passion which I think we share.

Your blog is by far the most interesting I have come across in the recent past, hands down!

The writer in me is yearning to write a piece for your blog, maybe around 400-500 words, or whatever you are okay with.

I would love to write for you on Latest Reviews on Cars from Classic to Electric Car Models, Motor Cycles , Sports Car and much more, if you are interested and in return I would ask nothing but a clean backlink to my site.

    Awaiting your reply.

    Regards,
    Maria Mcquire

    The 911DS design is amazing!
So we would like to publish an article about the 911DS in several german online magazines.
Could you please provide us with high resolution pictures of the car, via email ?
    That would be awesome :)

    many thanks!

  15. Hi Team brandpowder,

congratulations to this great idea – that’s charming!!

Could we use the photos on your site to present the 911DS on t-online.de/auto?

Thanks for a quick reply and kind regards
    Falk

    • Dear Sirs of t-online,

sorry for not being so quick in our reply but we have been out of office all day. You can use the photos, of course. It would be great if you mention Brandpowder in your article. Thanks for your interest in our project.

      Kind Regards,

  16. Hello,
I’m a journalist working for French GQ magazine.
We would like to know if it would be possible to use a picture of your Citroen-Porsche in our magazine ?
    Please let me know.
    Best,
    Antoine Jaillard

  17. Dear Sirs,

congratulations to your 911 DS, marrying the best cars of two worlds. Will this only remain a design study or is someone already thinking of a commercial development? An electrical or hybrid version could match.

Best regards from Northrhine-Westfalia and good continuation,

    Peter

    • Hello Peter,

thank you for writing us. We are in contact with somebody who’s interested in making a first prototype of the 911DS, at the moment, but we must respect a non disclosure agreement on the project. We’ll let you, and all our readers, know about it in the near future. Fingers crossed!

  19. Brandpowder:

I am the new editor of Porsche Spiel, which is the publication of the Pacific Northwest Region of the Porsche Club of America (PNWR/PCA). Please see the December edition online as an example:
    http://digital.nexsitepublishing.com/i/222462

Porsche Spiel is operated on a volunteer basis with an in-print monthly circulation of approximately 1600. The Porsche Spiel online is also freely available and read throughout the world.

    We really love your Porsche/Citron.
We would like to include a single image of the car (right front fender facing forward) as the inaugural piece in a new column to be called “In Reverse” that will be published in our January 2014 issue.

In January the photo would be presented and readers would be invited to submit their favorite captions as a contest. In February, the same photo would be printed once more along with the winning captions.

This is one of the more imaginative automotive concepts I have seen in a long time. I am sure it will grab our readers attention.

Thus, we are requesting permission to publish this photo a total of two times only (once in January and February of 2014). You would, of course, be fully cited and acknowledged.

Can you please let me know if this is possible as soon as you can because the January deadline is fast upon us.

    Many thanks

    Dr. David Cook

  20. Dear Brandpowder,
I can see I am not the only one moved by your DS 911 ! I am the publisher and of two high end french language magazines (Ferdinand and Grand Prix) and I would love to published the pictures and also make an interview with you, to publish it in our magazines. Is this possible ? Were are you located ? Can I call you or come to see you for this ?
    Very best regards, Pascal

    • Dear Pascal,
thank you for your kind words. We will get in touch with you shortly. We’ll be happy to fulfill your requests.

      Best Regards,

      the Brandpowder Team

  21. Hi Brandpowder team,
I’m here, browsing your website by the fault of “Ferdinand magazine”… thank you Ferdinand ! I like Mister Drop and other things. Your iconoclast 911DS project is fun and why don’t you try know with a Yellow cab and a Volga ? USA and Russia for ever ?
On your site I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Porsche could drive green, it suits me because I have a blue 911 and happy to know that I’m logically driving green!
    Regards.

    • Hello Serge,

thank you for your comment. We are honored to know Ferdinand Magazine drove you to our pages and that you took your time to look up a few things. You’re right when you say the 911DS is pretty iconoclastic but we are now working hard to produce a real prototype. Thanks also for your suggestions. We’ll keep them in mind for future projects. Stick with us!

      Best Regards,

      The Brandpowder Team

  22. i just don’t get it at all. is this supposed to be what? do you make money out of this? what is all this about?

    • Hello Rosamaria,

the topic of money is as old as the Phoenicians who invented it 3,500 years ago. Until then, more or less for 3.5 million years, our ancestors could live without it, and not because they weren’t smart enough to come up with some abstract concepts, nor because they lacked the technology to melt metals. They just didn’t need it. So, going back to your question: do we make money out of this? Yes, we do make some money, every now and then, and this happens when we find clients crazy enough to sponsor our crazy ideas. None of us is a millionaire, but we all feel that way because we do what we love and that’s something money can’t buy.

A big hug from the Brandpower Team

  23. Thank you I like your answer and I apologise, that was a very silly remark
    have a nice weekend

  24. Ok, what about a page dedicated to the Malaysian Airline??????

    • Hello Luca,

you are right. Malaysian Airlines should really deserve a special space. We happened to fly with MA only once (on a discovery trip paid by one of our generous clients) and we found the best cocktails and the most beautiful hostesses on board.

  26. Hello!

I wanted to see if it would be possible to use your Deep Web graphic for an upcoming academic publication. Is this something you would allow? We would give full credit and a link. If so, do you have a high-resolution version you can share? The email I entered is legit.

This is the graphic the authors hope to use:

    Thanks, Brandpowder.

  27. Hello Brandpowder

I do not speak much English so I spend by Google translation. Sorry ..
    I’ll keep it simple …
I have a complete workshop Car reconstruction. (All trades work in a single plant)
    We are expert in DS.
Your project “the perfect car” and well, if you have not done, or if you have problems I can bring my help, if you want of course.
I can send you pictures of our work and achievements to get an idea of our creativity, if you give me an email address ….
    Thank you
    Kind regards
    serge

  28. Hello!

Looking on the web about the subject ‘deep web’, I found an infographic signed by the site of you, which I found very interesting and usual.
I am a student of Information Systems at PUC Minas – Belo Horizonte / MG – Brazil, and would like to request permission from you for the use of the image (fully referenced, of course) in a paper (short article) which will be published in a portal for extension purposes.

For both, I request you the file (photoshop, illlustrator, or etc …) so I can translate it into Portuguese. It would be possible?

    The article:
    http://www.brandpowder.com/how-deep-is-your-web/

I thank you for the attention.
    Felipe Soares.

  29. I would like to buy a high resolution version of one of the images shown on your website. Is this possible – and if so what would it cost?
Here is the description: zipped eyes
you can also see a version of the image (facebook cover image) here:
    http://www.ifacecover.com/zipped_eyes_fb_cover-covers.html

    Thank you and best regards,
    Jim Biddle.

    • Hello Jim,

we haven’t rights over this picture. You can download it here
For copyrights on commercial use you should contact the author.

  30. Hello,

I’d like to inquire if it’s possible to purchase advertising space on brandpowder.com.

If there is any space available please let me know and we could discuss further details.

Looking forward to your positive reply.

    Abigail

    • Hallo Nasser,

thanks for your inquiry. Our pages are advertising free and we’d like to keep them this way. We receive free donations from fans who support our activity and we don’t need much money, anyway, as long as we have enough to buy bread, booze and boogie.

      Kind Regards,

      The Brandpowder Team

  31. Hello, Brandpowder

I wanted to ask whether may I use the Picture of the web ocean for a Blog about the Darknet and Deepweb? The Blog is for a School Project.

    • Hello Gerst,

sorry for the late reply but our staff was out on a new assignment with whales. Yes, of course you can use our image.
All the best for your School Project!

      The Brandpowder Team.

  32. Dear Brandpowder,

Some of my friends approached me the other day. They all agreed that I am to discover a group of like-minded people on the Brandpowder, people who think and act in ways similar to mine.

I took a look and I must admit they were right. If ever you need an associate or a temporary team-member I am willing to join.

I am Mladen Masar, a.k.a. sarma, a librarian and designer (in my spare time only). On http://sarma.hr I have a portfolio. Most of it is in Croatian (even though I place puns in both English and Croatian), but some of my works is purely visual. Here are some samples:

    • Dear Mladen Masar,

sorry for replying so late to your letter. We reviewed the artwork you submitted to our attention and, beside being flattered by your proposal, we invite you to insist on your research on visual art. We liked the tanning mask shaped like a cow hide. And also some of your graphic design. Unfortunately we can’t appreciate all of your work for not being fluent in Croatian. We are not looking for temporary members at the moment but we’ll try to keep in touch for the future. Who knows. For the time being, we are sending you our Best Wishes for the New Year and thanks again for thinking about us.
